Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi : 2009 Edition

Bajaj Auto has planned to launch six new versions of its vehicles in India this year. It has come up with a full black theme for its Pulsar 220. The engine and the other specifications remain untouched. Whereas the alloys and the engine have been given a matte black finish to add more style to it. This gives the vehicle a more sporty look. They also have plans of releasing the 220 Chrome Edition this year. It has a completely new colour with a full black theme which blends absolutely perfect with the new colour.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 - 2009 Edition

Well this time Bajaj Auto has come up with some improvisations in their premium vehicle 'Pulsar'. With their sales dropping continuously last year after the introduction of Yamaha FZ-16 they wanted to make sure they hit the markets with something new.While the wait for the new 200 is still on, Bajaj updates Pulsar 180.

The new version of the P180 has an increase in the power to 17.02PS @ 8500rpm compared to the earliers version's power output at 16.51PS at the same rpm.

The swingarm has been lifted from Avenger or 220 thereby increasing the kerb weight from 143kgs to 147kgs.

Wheelbase has also increased by 25mm to 1345mm therefore giving you larger road grip while racing.

The kick start option has been removed hence the driver has to rely on the battery power for ignition.

The 'Pulsar' monogram on the tank is more pronounced with a metallic finish unlike the rubberized one on the 200/220.

The new bike gets the tank extensions from the 200.

The bike gets a 37mm fork assembly from the Pulsar 220 and promises more stability in corners. The bottom pipes are finished in matte black.

The steering tee is lifted straight from the 220's chasis again.

This model features split seats from the 200/220. The pillion seat gets th same grabrails as the bigger Pulsars.

The exhaust styling remains unchanghed. The new P180 is looking more mascular and stunning. And is definetly male.
