Belgian Grandprix results :: Kimi Raikonnen wins Belgian Grandprix

Sunday's race at the spa was full of action and entertainment with the teams fighting really hard for the podium. Atlast it was Kimi Raikkonen on his Ferrari to make it first to the podium followed by Force India's Fisichella. Kimi Raikkonen won his fourth Belgian Grandprix. Sebastian Vettel finished third on his Red Bull. It was indeed an unlucky day for Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton who crashed out and had to retire from the race. By winning second place in this race Force India opens this season's points table.

Force India first pole position :: Giancarlo Fisichella takes pole position

Giancarlo Fisichella took pole position for Force India ahead of Toyota’s Jarno Trulli and BMW Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld on Saturday at Spa. This is the first pole position for the team in their Formula One career and the team is absolutely excited about it. When asked about the team's performance in the Qualifying to the team owner Vijay Mallya, he said firstly he has to thank his team for their support and hardwork they have been putting in for the performance of the vehicle. He said that we had a very bad season last year and they had to redesign the car again and make adjustments. We had been termed as the team which never Qualifies and now i think it has been disproved.

He also said that this team is the only team which spends very less when compared to other teams in the Formula One. He is looking forward to the race on Sunday and is on cloud nine after seeing Fisichella performing really well. Lets hope that the team and the car performs really well on Sunday's race.
