Simbu in Mani Ratnam's next movie :: Simbu Mani Ratnam team up

Simbu whose latest movie Vinnaithandi varuvaaya is all set to release and has all the reasons to be elated. The star who was roped in for K.V.Anand's next project Ko backed out due to some misunderstandings with the director. Simbu was replaced with Jiiva on the same day.Simbu said that he backed out as the role demanded a lot of change from his new look. Now Simbu has been roped in by ace director Mani Ratnam for his next project.

Mani Ratnam recently called up Simbu and asked him to keep the next few months free for his next project. Mani Ratnam is fast wrapping his project Raavan which is all set to release in the month of June. His next project will also be a bilingual with Simbu in Tamil and Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi.

Actor Simbu is a happy man these days, as his movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya is all set to release. And the movie has been certified U/A. The members at the censor board appreciated both the actor and director of the movie. The movie was first slated for a Feb 12th release but later postponed to Feb 26th. The movie has music by A.R.Rahman and the tunes have turned out to be chartbusters.

There is a lot of expectation on the movie because Gautam and A.R.Rahman are teaming up for the first time. The cinematography of the movie is done by Manoj Paramhamsa of Eeram fame. The movie is said to a be a visual treat for the audience said the cameraman. Simbu and Trisha are pairing up after a Alai. Both the stars have a new look which has raised the expectations even more.

Mani Ratnam's Raavan release date :: Raavan release date confirmed

The much awaited flick of the decade Raavan which is considered as Mani Ratnam's magnum opus is almost complete and the post production of the movie has started. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vikram and Prithviraj. It is a bilingual movie which is being shot simultaneously in Hindi as well as Tamil. The music is composed by Academy award winner A.R.Rahman and cinematography is by Santosh Sivan and Manikandan.

The movie also has Govinda and Priyamani in pivotal roles. The movie is produced by Madras Talkies and Big Pictures. The movie is set to release in the month of June, 2010. Recently Mani Ratnam re-shot certain scenes for the movie and is now happy with the outcome of the movie. This movie will surely take Indian cinema to the next level.

Singam release date :: Surya Singam release date confirmed

The much expected 25th movie Singam of actor Suriya is almost complete and will start the post production work in a couple of days. The movie is directed by director Hari and has music by Devi Sri Prasad. This movie will see Suriya pairing opposite to Anushka for the first time. It is expected to be a big summer release for the star. The expectations are high as his earlier flicks with this director were hits.

The movie is produced by Big Pictures and Studio Green which is the actor's home production. Meanwhile there are talks on that the marketing giant is negotiating on this movie. The team is planning to release the movie on April 2, 2010. Suriya's movie Ayan was also released in the month of April last year, which turned out to be the only blockbuster of the year 2009. Hope the same luck works wonders for the star. The audio of the movie is said to be released in the end of February.
