Chennai Super Kings defeat Kings XI Punjab

Chennai Super kings have proved themselves champions of the tournament after a bad start initially this season. They defeated the Kings XI by 12 runs. CSK put up a total of 185 after a rain delayed match. The overs were reduced to 18. Skipper MSDhoni and Matthew Hayden were on fire. Kings XI almost closed in while chasing the total when MSDhoni gambled by bringing in Suresh Raina to bowl towards the end of the match. The two overs he bowled was exceptional reducing the pace of the match completely with jus 8 runs for 2 overs. And Raina was the man of the hour making it easy for CSK to win.

Chennai Super Kings strike again

Well CSK has made it again by beating Deccan chargers.MS.Dhoni and Matthew Hayden managed to put a decent total of 178 on board. And the Deccan chargers losing early wickets of Gibbs and Gilchrist created a pressure on the batting side. But still Smith managed to maintain the runrate till he was dismissed for a lbw. It was Jakati who struck again with the ball picking up 4 for 22. Skipper MS.Dhoni was awarded man of the match for his unbeaten 58 off 37 balls.

Chennai Super Kings beat Rajasthan Royals

Yeah hurray !!! Atlast Chennai Super Kings have broken their losing spree. CSK which badly needed a win got it by defeating Rajasthan Royals. It was Suresh Raina's 98 which gave the team a good total. The bowlers put the pressure on the opposition by taking wickets at regular intervals. Balaji bowled extremely well by picking up 4 wickets for 21.

Ferrari fails again

It was again a bad day for the Ferrari team. Even though the drivers Massa and Kimi had a good start they failed to retain it. Their cars are not performing good. Massa's car stalled in the middle the race and he had to walk out. Kimi however couldn't make it to the top 8 to score a point. With three races completed this season Ferrari are yet to score a point.

Sebastian Vettel wins Chinese GP

Today's race was full of drama and action. Finally Red Bull racing made it to the chequered flag for positions 1 and 2. Followed by Brawn Mercedes in 3 and 4. Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel who took the pole yesterday made it again on the wet track this year. The 21 yr old was simply outstanding having perfect control of the vehicle.

Sebastian Vettel takes pole in Chinese GP

It was team Red Bull's day today in the Chinese Grand Prix with their drivers performing extremely well taking P1 and P3.Fernando Alonso capturing P2 for his team Renautl. Ferrari's Felipe Massa failed to make it to the Q3 and hence will start from P13. However his team mate Kimi Raikonen managed to get a place in the top 10.
