Pakistan win the T20 world cup after defeating Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka scored a total of 138-6 in 20 overs after losing their key striker Dilshan in the very first over of the match. It was then Sangakkara and Mathews who put a decent score on the board with an unbeaten 64 and 35 respectively. Sri Lanka's bowling was not upto the mark. Udana's economy was very high and can be considered as one of the reasons for Sri Lanka's failure. Shahid Afridi's unbeaten 54 along with team mate Shoaib Malik's 24 putting up a partnership of 76 led the team to a dramatic win to clinch the T20 champions title.
