The 21 year old German took the second pole of this season and third pole of his career. He finished first after breaking Jenson Button's lap time by one-tenth of a second. Barichello ended up third for Sunday's race. Ferrari team mates Kimi Raikonnen and Fellipe Massa will start sixth and seventh respectively. Unfortunately former world champion Lewis Hamilton failed to make it to Q2 after his car struggled to complete on time in the Istanbul Park track.
